LEARNER TIME COMMITMENT:
- This is a 1-day course over 10 hours (9 a.m. to 7 p.m.)
REQUIREMENTS:
- You need a PAL licence to buy firearms, to buy ammunition and you will need to renew it every 5 years.
- If you register and come to this course, you must bring your identification. You can bring a Driver’s Licence, a passport, Alberta ID, a status card or social insurance card (minors school ID).
NON-RESIDENTS: Non-residents of Canada can take the PAL course. Non-residents of Canada need a PAL licence to buy ammunition, firearms or carry a firearm in Canada. For more information about non-residents, click here: Firearms for non-residents
