If you were unable to progress in math because you could not remember math facts like the multiplication times tables, using a calculator may start you on the road to math advancement.
Using a calculator for the first time can be a bit scary. Once you learn what the buttons do and how to use them for different calculations, you’ll be more than comfortable using your calculator whenever you need it, in the workplace, at home, or at educational institutions.
- Learning to use a calculator will allow you to progress from basic whole number computation, through decimals and fractions and geometry.
- No need to be intimidated by math.
- Using a calculator is excellent for an immediate sense of accomplishment or if you suffer from math anxiety.
- You will be tutored on a one-to-one basis.
- Together, you will work through basic math operation skills and incorporate the use of calculators in the higher levels.
Work with us on a one-to-one basis to learn Basic Calculator Usage. This course will enable you to move smoothly through all our math levels, including Whole Numbers, Decimal Basics, Fraction Basics and Changing Numbers. After completing all levels, you may gain successful entrance to Apprenticeship or other post-secondary institutions.
